Are you tired of being embarrassed and frustrated? Are you tired of playing with players who do not understand fundamentals? Can you still "hold your own?  Please consider the United States Over 40  Memorial Basketball League . The United States Over 40 Memorial Basketball League would like to begin in TBD . (We currently do not have enough players to activate the league.)  League games (depending on the size of the league) will be played on Saturdays (no games around the holidays).   Although the league will be based in the Baltimore City/Baltimore County Area, all individuals from all over Maryland are eligible (and welcomed) to play ball.   ​For individuals who are interested in becoming referees, the games should contact the league immediately. ​ The Schedules, Scores and Standings will be updated weekly on this site.  The United States Over 40 Memorial Basketball League game schedule will consist of 12 games .    The team entry fee for this schedule is $800.00.  Please note that , as of this date the league will  supplying shirts.

We named the league "The United States Memorial Basketball League" because we were playing a "pick-up" game at the YMCA and our friend passed away on the court. (His two daughters were with him that day.) We vowed for this to never happen again by taking care of players who still want to participate but at their own pace.

No matter what your skill level "the United States Memorial Basketball League" will provide something better than just running  "up and down the court and not touch the ball for hours! We encourage all eligible players to come, make friends and enjoy the pleasure of playing a sport for the love of it!
